IE 6 Browser close once any web page is reached

I am having problems with IE6 , whereby the browser
close once any web page ( eg msn, yahoo , etc) is reached.

I have reinstalled / repaired IE6, but the problem still
persist.

I have even run virus scan with norton.

Please let me know if anyone could solve this problem.

I had this problem and the following worked for me:-

Internet Explorer
Tools menu
Internet Options
Advanced Tab
Browsing - uncheck the 'Enable third-party browser
extensions'
Restart
