IE 6.0 works under my wifes logon but not mine

I have a strange one. We have one computer. One ISP but
as usual with Windows XP I have two user accounts. I can
connect to the ISP just fine when logged on as either my
wife or myself, however IE will only work with my wife's
logon. With mine I keep getting the "Cannot find server,
DNS error". I have verified all the settings are correct.
Every now and then it will work with my logon for a few
weeks and not my Wife's logon. This is the same computer
just different logons. This is driving me crazy. Any
ideas.

That is one of the fixes listed in the KB article referenced below. Go
figure. Didn't work for me, though.

This is possibly caused by spyware/parasites. Work through the
solutions (CWShredder, Ad-aware, Spybot) at
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm Also note the security tips on that
page.

And, you might try LSP Fix from http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm and the
winsock repair fix from http://members.shaw.ca/techcd/WinsockXPFix.exe if
LSP Fix doesn't work in your case.
