All of a sudden, IE 6.0 with all the latest updates will
not open from any path. Operating with XP Home. All other
access to the internet works, including Netscape, MSN, via
Outlook, etc.

Please Help!

Thanks,
AL

Same problem, since Saturday early am. I have 2 PC's XP & Win 98. I.E. 6
only opens top 2" of page. I can surf & go everywhere except my original
AT&T DSL start page.http://attdslservice.att.net/ I called Tech Help last
night, they had same problem, but could not give me a reason or any
advice/help. After 2-3 minutes the page fully opens. But next time I open
it , same problem. I assume AT&T have put some new code in that is taking
to long to load.

Ps. I thought it might have corrected itself by this morning, but no luck.
Still a problem on both machines.

Thanks, at least yours eventually opens. Mine will not, I
am using other browsers and have not been able to find any
fixes. Good luck with your problem.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.

Let AD-Aware Scan your system for advertising Spyware
http://www.lavasoftusa.com

and:

SpyBot-S&D
http://security.kolla.de/

p.s Reset the 3rd party browser setting.

More: This may be caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware,
parasite).
Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.
