IE 6.0 Start Page changes on Power Up - Suspect Trojan

R

Rich Braden

We've been having a problem with our IE start, default and
search pages being changed after a power-up. The registry
files are being modified automatically to an address with
sever % signs, but it ultimately loads page: out.true-
counter.com, then www.global-finder.com. We've updated
our McAfee Virusscan and scanned our system several
times. We've run special Trojan Scans. We've talked with
McAfee for help finding the trojan or whatever is causing
this problem. Up to now we've been unsuccessful in
solving the problem. We can manually change the registry
files, but on the next power up they are changed back to
this weird site address. Anyone have any ideas???

I just posted this same questions, also with global-
finder.com as my problem. Did you get a solution?
