IE 6.0 Slow Action Loading Pages

Hi,

I posted an earlier report about my IE 6.0 suddenly
functioning very slowly...60 seconds or better to load and
the same with subsequent pages.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled ie6.0, performed a
system repair, run SpyBot and Ad-aware and finally ran
HijackThis with the following results: (Please review and

All we seem to get is the link:

Which is useless, since I've done all that. It has been my experience that
the content of certain sites (www.theweatherchannel.ca for example) kill the
browser (100% cpu), while others (fark.com, google.ca, etc. etc.) don't. I
dual boot between XP home and pro (with the same SPs and hotfixes), and
don't experience the problems with pro at all. I'd like a real answer to
this problem.

Sign in, go to the "Spyware and Hijackware Removal" section.
Press "New Topic", copy and paste hijackthis.log into your new
message.Visiting the SpywareInfo Forum or one of the other recommended
Forums, to finish cleaning up your system is highly recommended. As neither
Ad-Aware or SpyBot can no longer completely remove these pests. This is
mainly due to new daily threats and the use of random generated filenames
used by these parasites!

IE browser loads a web page and then hangs for 30 seconds
before any links or scroll bar becomes active

HERE IS THE FIX!
go into IE, Tools/Internet Options/Advanced and under "Browsing

That only stops the symptom. To fix the cause see

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.
