I just got a new PC with 2.4 ghz and windows 2000
installed. When using Internet explorer 6.0 to download
software the download window comes up and the download
begins. After about 2-4% of the download is complete,
the "% downloaded" stops increasing. The animation of the
pages flying from one file to another continues but no
more information is downloaded. Sometimes the message
comes up that the connection has timed out and I should
check my internet settings but I don't know what to check
or what to change. I cannot complete any downloads.
Anybody know what's going on and/or how to fix it? Many
