IE 6.0 Freezes Constantly

[gilbug]

I am using IE 6.0 in Windows XP Home. I have downloaded and installed all
patches adn updates. About a week ago everytime I try to close IE it
freezes. I fa secondary window is opened and I try to close it to return
to the main window the entire program freezes and will close when I end
program. As far as I know I did not install anything around the time that
the error began. Any help?

Use the restore feature and go back to a date when everything was working
ok.
