what are all thes files that keep appearing all about 1K
in size?

Can I deleat them?

What are IDX files?

twice 1583 number in total

I was concerned it might be a VIRUS?
 
Right click one of the idx files | Properties | On the General tab |
Under Opens with:
What does it say??
