IDMSO for custom commandbars

We are automating some of excel tasks using the excel API's now we can catch the idmso for the commandbar controls and click on them easliy, but for the custom command bar controls on the ribbons i am unable to get the idmso, is there any way out to this problem .

how can i get the api ref for these custom controls and activate them.

help really appreciated :)
