when i recieve an email from my boss, i would like it to appear in a
different color text(not flagged) in the inbox. is this possible for the the
subject, from, and recieve fields to appear in a diiferent colerd text when
my boss sends me an email? thank you in advance.

You should be able to do this with your current view. Assuming that u r
using Outlook 2003, the steps would be...

1) Select view | arrange by | current view | define views
2) highlight messages
3) modify button
4) automatic formatting

Use a rule to assign a category to e-mails that you detect are from your
boss. Then customize the view for the selected folder to use automatic
formatting to color code e-mails in that category (under automatic
formatting, add a new filter and define the condition under More Choices
to trigger on the category you created for your boss).
