go to C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook.
(You can easily access it by pasting %USERPROFILE%\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook in the Address bar of your browser or Windows
Explorer) and find *.NK2. They are named by the profile and you probably
have two - close outlook and delete the new one and rename the old one to
use the name of the new one.

Thank you.
I created a new profile and then i was able to close the other personal
Folder in the navigation pane.
This has however caused another problem which is that since doing the
above when composing a new message Outlook no longer suggests names for me
when I start to type.
I do have the box checked in the advanced section of the mail setup in
options.
It seems that outlook has forgotten/lost the list of names it used to
suggest for me.
Is there anyway i can restore it or has it gone now?
Hoping for your help
Gordon
