(Very hardware-newbie question ahead!)

What is the difference between an "IDE" and "SCSI" hard disk and why are
SCSI disks so much more expensive?

One advantage SCSI has over IDE is that SCSI controllers can respond to
multitasking operating systems better. They're not limited to one command
at a time.

SCSI is mult-taksing interface and usually sjould be used with servers or
graphical workstations.
