ide raid question - cdrw not showing

Hi

!! in pevious post header I meant disregard previous post but read this

I bought adaptec raid card 1200a and installed it in slot everything

I booted computer (w2k server)
I installed raid management soft
I configured raid 1

I figured out that i nneded to create volume on new disk so now raid is
showing


BUT in windows explorer my cdrw drive stoped showing!

I go to device manager it says everything is OK
and it shows it is SONY so it recognized it

what happened?

Check the drive letter assignments in disk management. The new volume may
have been set the the same as the cd drive.
