IDE Error #1

For some reason when I turned my computer on yesterday, I
got the message IDE error #1. After the system booted up
I realized that it meant that my CD/DVD ROM drive was not
being recognized. How can I fix this problem?

If the message is appearing before Windows loads - it's from the system
board itself. Check all cabling: secure and not damaged.
