IDE disk drive letter assignments

I replaced my primary slave drive. The new drive is
assigned E instead of D. I need "D". How do I change
drive assignments in xp home
 
Go to Control Panel>AdminTools>Computer Manage>Disk Manage. Rt click on
the Drive you want to change and
select Change Drive Letter.
