ID PRODUCT KEY PROBLEM

I'm trying to instal word on my system and it asks for ID
PRODUCT KEY I punched inthe operating key but it dosn;t
except it what key do I need to punch in for word to work
I have no other key numbers is there a way around this?

The key you need is the one that should be on a sticker on the jewel case
that Word or Office or Works Suite came in. If it's an OEM version, the key
is probably printed on a certificate of authenticity that came with the
product (it may be glued to the cardboard case the CD came in). When typing
in the key, be careful not to confuse 0 with O, 6 with G, etc.
