Hope someone can help,

Seems Microsoft only allows mails to be sent via Outlook... that can't be
right?!?!? Anyone had any luck setting Excel up to work with Lotus Notes, so
that its possible to send spreadsheets as e-mail body text using to menu
command 'send to mail recipient'?

You need to change your settings in internet explorer to solve this.

In Internet Explorer goto Tools>Internet Options click on the Program
tab and change the email program to lotus notes.
