Subject: ICS questions
I have a peer network with mixed WinXP & Win98 clients.
#1 I can setup ICS such that the WinXP clients can manually force a
connect/disconnect on the dial-up, but that feature does not seem to be
available to Win98 clients. Is it possible for Win98 clients to do this?
#2 Is it possible to prevent specific clients from using the shared
connection?
#3 With the dial-up connection on automatic connect/disconnect it never
disconnects, even with the idle time set down to 1 minute. The reason would
appear to be incoming packets that are dropped by the firewall, they seem to
be treated as an active connection and therefore prevent the idle timer from
closing the connection. Any solution to this?
Regards to all.
