1. Un-share the broadband connection.

2. Right click and delete the Network Bridge.

3. Re-share the broadband connection, specifying the Local Area
Connection as the home network connection. Don't let it create a new
Network Bridge.

What is the Internet Connections setting in the client computer? Is a
firewall possibly blocking the connection? If your broadband connection is
'always on' the client should connect to the internet transparently over the
ethernet connection to the host. If you set the host to only connect when
you want it to, then in the Dial-up broadband connection you have to enable
"Establish a dial-up connection whenever another computer on my network
atempts to connect to the internet" (Advanced tab in the ICS section). The
IE Internet Options -Connections setting in the client computer should be
"never dial" a connection in both cases.
