I'm trying to set up Xbox live through ICS. I did what was told to do on
http://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/connect/sbc.htm and an error came up every
time saying "An error occurred while Internet Connection Sharing was being
enabled." It also said there was a IP adress conflict on the network. And it
said, "Please ensure no other client on the network is configured to use the
IP adress. I'm wondering how to make whatever is that's wrong work.

Thank you ina advance,

what's the ip you using? posting the result of ipconfig /all may help. For more and other information, go to http://howtonetworking.com.

Don't send e-mail or reply to me except you need consulting services. Posting on MS newsgroup will benefit all readers and you may get more help.

Sounds like you have an IP address conflict ICS is non
flexible in it's IP assifnment on the gateway, it prefers
192.168.0.1(unless otherwise specified, I would make
certain your xbox is not trying to use that IP address,
you can use an option to obtain the IP automaticaly, or
specify something other then your gateway address....
