ICQ and Paltalk

I have a brand new Toshiba laptop, running XP home edition.
Whenever I type a message in either of the above programs,
the cursor acts as if something has taken it over. It back
tabs all by itself, tabs to different areas of the message
window, does all kinds of crazy things. I cannot see any
setting in either program that would cause this. In fact
its doing it right now in this window, started in the above
sentence.

I will tyat at it may cause.pe this sentence slowly and not
correct any errors th

The above sentence was typed without me correcting it.
All the other sentences in this window had to be corrected
to be understandable. Can anyone help me with this? You

You might have some kind of malware. Be sure to check for current viruses
and download and use Spybot and/or AdAware.
