HELP! Yesterday, my husband rebooted his work computer (Intel celeron, WinXP
Home) because WordPerfect told him there wasn't enough memory to run. He had
been working successfully until that point. When he rebooted, the computer
came up and ALL the icons had been replaced with .lnk behind their name.
Error messages kept popping up asking him to locate the file for each "link"
that was trying to run with boot-up. This has never happened before, and I
don't know WHAT to do about it! Nothing I've tried works. I can't even do a
system restore, because that is a link too and won't run! Nothing will run
except explorer.
