Hi, my icons in the folder tree of Windows explorer have
gone. Can anyone help?

Mark

What drive is XP installed on, Mark? In the meantime, see if this applies:

The Folders Bar in Windows Explorer Does Not Contain Any Icons
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q307028

Adaptation for the Article: Needs to be a path not a drive letter, so subst
c: [x]:\. Note backslash converts a drive letter to a path. It must point
to a valid folder as in: c: d:\Windows

Thank you. Yes, I have Windows on D: but why I am not
sure. 1. Can I change it to C: easily? 2. Can you tell
me how to write a script to have this work when I start
windows?

Many thanks

Mark
