Have Windows XP Home Edition & have just installed
Norton Anti Spam. Now experience difficulty in icons
responding (can take up to about seven or more tries
sometimes)and in addition really really slow response
times generally. Any Fix??

Also when on Internet and computer stops resonding or
just freezes up, I use Crl, Alt& Del to End Task, BUT
I get message TASK MANAGER DISABLED BY ADMINISTRATOR. I
am only user on computer and thus I have to shut down and
reboot & reconnect to Internet. Any Solution?? Thanks BK

If the problem started with the installation of Norton Anti Spam, then it
isn't a Windows XP problem, it's a Symantec/Norton problem. Try the Support
and forums for that product at the Symantec web site.

You are needing to thoroughly clean your system, starting from the below.
Don't depend on Norton. Ad-Aware will solve this for you.

As for the ...disabled.. messages, if you are still seeing these after the
full clean, post back and I will give you the fix for that. Good luck!
