Icons do not appear after start-up

Hi.

I have a user that has a problem to see his icons on his desk-top after
logging in. Even the taskbar and menu bar is not appearing.

Does any have a clue how this can be solved.

Depends....

This generally has to do with display driver updates, commonly from running
MS updates from the notification sent. Either way, a rollback via the
Device Manager helps, if this is indeed the case.

If not, there are several measures to be used. One is to end process via
the Task Manager on Explorer.exe and then while still open, go to File/New
Task (Run) type in: Explorer.exe
