Hello all, I would like to know how can I diable an icon from appearing
in the Icon Tray bar??? I think that might be through registry, but all
I want is an alternative way other than disabling it from inside it's
program or just configuring it to hide when inactive... thanks in
advance...

well, I do not want to do that from the program itself, in other words,
I want to FORCE the icon to disappear from the icon tray.. thanks in

Start/Run/type: MSCONFIG/Hit Enter. Disable it under the Start Up tab.
Why don't you want to disable it from within the program?

check the options for that program to see if the is a "show taskbar icon"
check box or such...

some you can right click on the icon and disable it ...

or remove the program that placed it there :>
