David

I installed a program that needed the Active Desktop enabled. After that
I decided to uninstall it but it left it with my Active Desktop enabled... I
downloaded a script that disabled the Active Desktop from kelly's korner but
my icons' text aren't transparent anymore. Can someone help me get that
back?

Thank you, Dave

Not really, Dave. Here are the regular checkpoints, but AD is needed.

Start/Control Panel/System/Advanced/Performance/Settings/ Visual
Effects/"Use drop shadows for icon labels on the Desktop"

Also:

Right click the desktop and select Arrange Icons by. Towards the bottom of
that list, uncheck "Lock web items on the desktop."
