Quick Question:

How do you make the text under an icon transparent in the
Active Desktop?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Run a utility such as Activicons -
http://www.cursorarts.com/ca_ai.html - to set the background to
transparent. In Activicons, the option is on its "Interface" screen.
Since Windows does not keep the transparent setting whenever the
desktop refreshes, you'll need to run whichever utility in the
background to keep the transparency. Don't believe that there is any
way if you are displaying web content on the desktop, however.
