Icon Size

I learned that I can remove the ribbons or reduce the ones I am not using
currently by double clicking on the tabs (Home, etc.). This slightly
increases the sizes of the icons left on the ribbon, but does not help with
getting only the ones he uses on the tool bar.
I put all the icons my husband, an author, uses on the tool bar at the top.
However, he cannot see them very well. From my reading it looks like you are
telling me there is no way to increase the size of these icons?

In the Display Properties (Control Panel), have you tried changing the
settings for icon sizes (which will affect not only Word)?
