Icon appearance

I have XP and have four users set up including myself.
One three of the users' desktops, the icon titles show up
on a clear background where the wallpaper is under/behind
the words. On my desktop the icon title appear in a blue
box. I can see how to change the icon background color,
but I can find out to change it so it shows clear (no
background color, just the wallpaper). Any ideas greatly
appreciated. Thanks...
 
Control Panel, System Properties, Advanced, performance options, visual
effects, make sure use drop shadows for desktop icons is checked.
