Icalendar won't open (.ics)

I have a Outlook 2000, and I can't get icalender attachments to open. I have tried uninstall and reinstall and still nothing. I looked into my file associations, and there is nothing there for .ics extensions. I tried to make a new one, and have outlook open it, but I am still not having any luck.

Anyone have any experience/ideas with this?

What happens when you try to open it?

Did you try adding a file type for ics? The action should be

"C:\PROGRA~1\MICROS~1\OFFICE\OUTLOOK.EXE" /ical "%1"

[use your actual path to Outlook.exe, of course]
