IBM x30 and IE

Hi There

I have a IBM x30 with windows XP SP2 .I found when I start IE or IE
starts another page,it is very very slow.Do anyone have similiar
experience and give me some suggestions on how to fix it.BIOS or
Windows patch?

How much memory? It needs at least 512 MB for acceptable performance.
