I386 Directory

I installed Windows XP from my hard drive after xcopying
the i386 directory to the drive from the CD-ROM. Now
that the install is complete and working, can I delete
the directory with no issues?
 
You can, however if a situation arises like a SFC then the
registry will point to the drive/folder where Windows XP
was originally installed from. It will not prompt for a CD
because a Registry key, CDInstall has been set to 0 in the
Source Path for XP.
