I would like to see what documents were opened on a specific day

While I was out of the office someone accessed my computer and I would like
to see what documents they opened and looked at on a particular day.
 
You can look at recently used files but that may not tell you what you
want. I think yours is a security issue and you need to talk to your IT
staff about changing your passwords.
 
If you have Vista and you open Windows Explorer, you can add "Date accessed"
to the list of displayed fields. Change the View to "Details", right-click on
the fields, click "More", then check the box for "Date accessed". I think you
would have to check each folder separately. I'm not sure if this field is
available in XP.
