i have a lite-on dvd rom and a LG cd burner and i am
unable to copy large files from a cd with either of the
drives. Once the cds spin up quickly and begin copying
windows restarts itself and reports an error in the files
mini101603-01.dmp, mini101603-02.dmp, mini101603-03.dmp.
They are the only three that i have seen cause a problem.
Because of this i am unable to install games and copy
files from cds. Although i am able to make images of
various cds with cloneCD. Any suggestions on how i may be
able to fix this problem would be greatly appricated.
 
what cd-r software are you using? I had the same problem
with windowsxp built in software, and roxio easy cd
creator. I purchased aand install Ahead Nero Express
burning software and the problem went away
