I was told this was a problem with Windows XP....what do you think

Hi all! I hope someone can help me...

We've had Windows XP for over a year. There are several of us that use this
computer - I use Outlook to receive my e-mail; my sister & 2 others use
Outlook Express - and we've never had any problems at all until two days ago.
All of a sudden, I'm not getting ANY of my e-mails and my sister is getting
ALL of mine in her inbox at HER address.

Since we are somewhat clueless, we called our internet provider (bellsouth)
and they told us that it is a "glitch" in Windows XP and that we may have to
"redo" our e-mail info again in Outlook and Express. Does this sound right?

And If we have to reenter our names on Outlook and Express, how do I save
all our contacts and old e-mails? I don't want to lose them!
