I want to use Antivirus Better

My latest additions to our network came with a few new
antivirus softwares installed.

I've turned some of the features off because I can hardly
use the computer without warnings and passwords popping
up.

Any hints as to how to use this stuff without losing all
the productivity we buy computers for in the first place.

And by the way, anone but me in favor of life sentences
for hackers, virus spreaders, etc?

What is the name and version number of your av program???

There have been a few . . . the built-in security
features of Internet Explorer and Netscape, McAfee
Security Center . . .

The came preinstalled on our new Dells.

The broadband ISP's feature are no better (Comcast).

I just wondered if there were versions available that
were better able to discriminate . . . even files I
created MYSELF were getting password requests!
