I want to send a ppt out to play automatically can I?

I'm try to send a invitation ppt to non computer users and want it to be very
easy. I am trying to avoid them figuring out how to use powerpoint too. Is
it possible to have the powerpoint play automatically or do they have to use
ppt viewer?

Save the presentation as a PowerPoint Slideshow .pps To view it the
recipient must have either the viewer or the full version of PowerPoint on
their system.
