i want to join to a domain with W xp home edition

somebody told me that by design, Windows XP Home can not join a domain.

but is there a way to do it?

a service pack, or something?

Sorry, short of upgrading to XP Pro, you can't join a domain. You'll have to
access all resources as a workgroup member, and local accounts everywhere.
