I want to flag important emails and highlight them in my inbox

Using Outlook 07, used to be when I flagged my emails that the email
highlighted in my inbox, now it doesnt. How do i get this setting back? ALso
I have only red and pink flags, didnt they used to be different colors?

That has been replaced with Color Categories. By default you can see a
little square next to the flag; press that square or right click it to mark
it.
