I want to delete one of the pop-up email addresses in the To line

I want to delete one of the pop-up email addresses that shows after I've
entered one or two letters in the To address box.
 
Try using the arrow keys to select the address you want to delete and hit
"Delete."
 
That's what I said when I posted exactly the same question to the Outlook
discussion group two weeks ago. I would have felt better, somehow, if the
answer had involved a complex macro or commands like Ctrl-Shift-F9-Del.
