Install and use whatever you like as long as it is Vista compatible. Recent
Nero versions are.

I like Imgburn. Light wieght works great.
I have had some problems when vista's wmplayer attaches itself and won't
let the program have the CD drive...but I can't blame that on ImgBurn..

One possible workaround is to flag ImgBurn to run as an administrator,
this allows ImgBurn to detach WM automatically.

Thanks, sounds like something to try.
Can you help me accomplish this?
I open the shortcut properties page and there's
a "run as administrator" checkbox, but it's greyed out.
I can't set it.
I can right click the shortcut, but I'm trying to learn stuff here.
I "should" be able to fix it in the shortcut property page???

I've been trying to understand how security works and how to fix it
without taking ownership of everything and giving everybody full control.
All I'm getting from the newsgroups is a dismissive virtual pat on the head
and admonition that Vista knows best and I'm an idiot for wanting
to do anything more complex than saving a file in my documents
folder.
Thanks, mike.
