I want past appts. to stay and not delete

Currently my appointments and info I put in are only be kept for two months.
I want many appts. to stay and not automatically delete. How can I fix this?
 
Remove the auto-archive settings from your calendar or set it to something
you can live with, like one year. Right click on the Calendar
folder->Properties.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
