I want my popups back!

Somehow, and for no reason that I can discern, IE is
suddenly stopping all popups. But I need popups to use my
university's webmail! I know the problem is in IE,
because it doesn't happen in Netscape. I've looked at
the enable script settings, as far as I could understand
them from the truly dismal web help center, but would
much appreciate it if someone could direct me to what to
turn on/off within IE.

Thanks,
Melani

IE6 does not have a built in pop up stopper. Look to your firewall, popup
stopper, virus checker, or some external program causing this.

IE cannot stop popups by itself. Perhaps you have installed the Google
Toolbar on your browser, or some other third party popup stopper. If so,
check the settings. Most of those products include the ability to
selectively allow popups by holding down some hot key while you are
clicking. This will allow you to use your webmail while still avoiding all
the popup advertising.
