I want Google!

I ALWAYS do my searches from the address toolbar. It used to be that
whatever search engine you set as a preference would also work when you
searched from the address bar.

Now, when I use search assitstant (which I detest!), I get my preferred
Google engine, but when I use the address bar I get MSN, which has to be the
most inefficient and useless search engine out there.

Is there a way to force the address bar search to default to Google?

Hi,
Try this...
IE> View> Explorer bar> Search> Customize> Autosearch settings. Is Google
one of the choices?

If unsuccessful with that procedure, go to http://www.google.com/options/
Look for "Additionally, you can Add Google to your Browser by making Google
your default search engine." at the bottom of the page.
