I waited too long for a p4p800

Now that I waited so long to buy a p4p800 mobo
I am getting ready to order and see there is a
P4P800 I865
and a P4P800S I848
as well as the P4P800 deluxe I865PE

I can read the specs and differences but whats the diff
between (better/worse) the 865 and 848 chipsets?

865: Dual Channel DDR
848: Single Channel DDR (i.e. slower, but how much?)
