I use Outlook Express. Why does Microsoft Outlook error pop up?

I use Outlook Express as my e-mail. Why does" Microsoft Outlook" error keep
popping up while I am in my Outlook Express email. This is the error
message: Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client
cannot fullfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Outlook and set
it as the default mail client. How do I correct this problem so that this
error message does not pop up anymore?

Internet Options -> Programs
Select OE as the default MAPI (e-mail) client

Open OE
Tools -> Options -> General tab
Click the button "Make Default" for mail client (if not already selected).
