I-Tunes Reversal

Hello all,

I have a problem, and im wondering if anyone can help. If you guys are
familiar with i-tunes, you probably know about the i-tunes "library"
option. What im talking about is when i-tunes sorts your mp3's into a
library it creates on its own. It sorts, and places all you mp3's into
subfolders. They are sorted by artist, then subfoldered by album. Ok,
ok i made the mistake by not unchecking that box. I was wondering if
anyone can help me move these files back into their original folder,
and then delete those subfolders. If you can help, i can give you the
folders they are in.

want them all in in the same folder? start/search/find files folders/
select music, click advanced choose location in c:\ then start.. once
its found all your music, select all the files, right click cut, then
in whatever folder you want it in open it and right click paste. you
can then go and delete the other folders as they will now be empty.

Flamer.

Hi,

I had the exact same problem last week, it not only chopped up My Music but
a backup I had on another drive. It took me a couple of hours of copying and
pasting and then deleting the unwanted foders to put things right.

As a consquence I have uninstalled Itunes and use MediaMonkey to update my
Ipod. I find it a far better application.

Good luck
