I think I'll pass on installing Defender

After reading all the "horror stories" about Windows Defender program I have
decided NOT to install on mine. Sounds like Defender needs an overhaul by
Windows experts ASAP to get all the "bugs" out.

Hi Pamela,

You will tend to see problems on the WD site, however, I think that the
majority of WD users would say that their experience has been a positive one.
I have installed WD on five home PC's and a bunch of PC's at work (and I
don't work in the IT dept). As of this writing I have not encountered any
problem at the work place.

You will need to feel confident before you try to use WD but I wanted to
relate to you a very positive experience and WD has come a long way.

This site has a lot of help and will be able to give you sound advise if you
need it. Engel, Bill, Randy all have a lot of knowledge. However, you will
need to decide.

Do also review the product release notes prior to install and the basic
requirements.
