Microsoft on the Age Of Empires Limited Edition CD's. I just recieved cuts on
my thumb handling them normally. This is no good Microsoft!

I just checked my index fingers and thumbs and thee are visibe slits as to
where i have been cut by these CD's

Then paper must be lethal to you.

Find a phone and call someone who cares then.

Try investing in a pair of gloves with an added advantage of less
fingerprints on the surface of the CD.

Do you have a Lifesaver?

Hope this helps.

Didn't you see Microsoft's disclaimer? "Use at your own risk!"

If you can actually find a lawyer dumb enough to try, go right ahead
and sue!

It might be a nice little earner for the lawyer providing he/she makes
clear the prospects of success to the client before accepting the brief.
The legal profession by the law of averages stands to make as much money
pursuing lost causes as winning ones. This does not of course apply to a
brief accepted on a no win no fee basis.

Quite so, but I thought most lawsuits like this were on "spec".

This is a grave matter that must be taken seriously and addressed before
somebody is killed by this monstrous negligence.
Can you photograph or scan these horrendous injuries and post urls?

Quickly - before the blood poisoning takes hold.

No win no fee is a relatively recent innovation in the UK, which has
been heavily promoted on the TV in the last 3/4 years. I think it is an
import from the US which we could have done without. It creates a
"blame" culture making people reluctant to help out and has made
insurance premiums go through the roof. Health & Safety interferes in
numerous ways in all aspects of life. No win no fee has materially
contributed to these unwelcome changes.

No dispute, and I entirely agree that frivolous lawsuits need to be
reined in.

However, when an individual must go against a large organization with
deep pockets, he'll need a lot of incentives for his lawyer in order
to succeed.
